What is a microfiber cloth?

Microfibre cloths are, surprisingly, made of microfibre. But what is it and why is it so popular in the cleaning world? Microfibre consists of a mixture of polyester and polyamide and is a synthetic material. The fibres of this material are woven together to form a strong cloth. The fibres are stitched together in such a way that spaces remain in the cloth. In these spaces dirt can be easily absorbed without leaving any residue on the surface to be cleaned.

The advantages of cleaning with microfibre cloths

Try it out and you will experience the difference! Brush a 'normal' cloth over a dusty or dirty surface. You will see that you have to repeat this at least two or three times to get that cupboard or sink really clean. You see, with a regular cleaning cloth there will always be dirt or fibres left behind. Do the same with a microfibre cloth, and you're done in no time! The microfibres suck up the dirt, as it were, and do not leave any streaks. And the best part is: in many cases, you don't even need to use a cleaning agent.
